The Arsenal-supporter's guide to shopping on the Internet

Books:

Alphabetstreet has the best selection. They have a search-function on their homepage. Write "Arsenal football" (without the "), click "search", and you will get 651 items, of which at least 20 are directly connected to Arsenal FC. They've also got a database for searching on used/hard-to-get books.
Price examples (excl. VAT): WE'RE PROUD TO SAY THAT NAME (GBP12.74); THE HIGHBURY ENCYCLOPEDIA (GBP6,79). Shipping (standard): UK: 1.95 for One Book, 2.95 per parcel of two or more books. Europe: 2.50 for One Book, 1.50 per book thereafter. USA: 4.50 for One Book, 2.50 per book thereafter. Rest of the World: 6.00 for One Book, 3.50 per book thereafter. (all prices in GBP)

Amazon is another reliable internet-shop, but with few Arsenal-connected items (if your not looking for litterature on weapons, of which -- of course -- these americans has a lot to offer (as is also the case of Spree.com)). Try them out for out-of-print-books.
Price examle: THE HIGHBURY ENCYCLOPEDIA (USD17.95). Shipping (standard): US: $3.00 per shipment plus $0.95 per book. "Domestic": $4.00 per shipment plus $1.95 per book.

Videos and CDs:

Forget Reel.com, Buy.com and CD Now, the very best Internet-shop for Arsenal-fans is
The Interactive Music & Video Shop. Click "Search"; click "Multimedia search"; write "Arsenal" in the field "Product Title" and click "search now".
Result: 37 video-titles (PAL-format only, prices excl. VAT from GBP 4.59 (several FA Cup-finals) to GBP 12.86 (Boring Boring Arsenal), Good Old Arsenal CD and cassette (GBP 10.23/6.06) and Arsenal-Inside Highbury CDrom (GBP 25.42). Shipping (videos): UK: first item 1.80, each extra 1.20. Europe: first item 2.79, each extra 1.89. USA: first item 4.38, each extra 3.03. Australia: first item 4.98, each extra 3.46. (all prices in GBP)

And on a general note (not including american shops like Amazon): For goods shipped to destinations in the European Union, Value Added Tax will be charged at a rate of 17.5% on all items including the shipping and handling charge.
Goods shipped to non-E.U. European Countries and the Rest of the World are not subject to any European Value Added Tax (VAT); however, they may be subject to local import charges and taxes which are the responsibility of the purchaser.

All facts refer to November1998. This is NOT a complete list of Book-, CD- or Video-shops on Internet.
