• June 5-15, Professor Ludwig Faddeev (Steklov Institute of Mathematics, St.Petersburg, Russia) is visiting our Institute. His lecture "History of Quantum Groups" will be on June 6, Friday, 15:00 sharp at the Auditorium Pi, Johannes Brunsgate 12.

• Mauricio Godoy (from Chile) joins the Analysis Group as a new Ph.D. student from April 2008. He will share office 521, phone 84895.

• August 15, Pavel Gumenyuk got a one year post-doc position at our Institute. This appointment is due to Russian-Norwegian Cooperation Program. His office is 521, phone 84895.

• June 27-30, Professor Ludwig Faddeev is visiting our Institute.  He will speak on discretization of quantum current algebras and Virasoro algebra and relations with integrable models. His lecture on June 29, Friday, 15:00 sharp will be at the Auditorium Pi, Johannes Brunsgate 12.
  
• May 4, 2007, one-day workshop "Geometric Analysis". The speakers are I.Markina (UiB), A.Stray (UiB), A.Vasiliev (UiB), D.-Ch.Chang (Georgetown University, USA). I.Krichever (Columbia University, USA).
