The animation shows drainage of a initially completely wetted medium. Blue represents wetting phase, red represents non-wetting phase and the arrows represent the flow direction (of the respective phase). No arrow (and light blue throats) indicates trapped fluid. At the top boundary we have non-wettiung phase at a higher pressure than the rest of the network.
NB! The length of the arrows does not represent the magnitude of the flux.
