NORWEGIAN FALL SCHOOL ON ANALYSIS
FOR PH.D. STUDENTS AND YOUNG RESEARCHERS

September 10-13, 2009

The aim of the school is to bring together members of Analysis Groups from the University of Bergen and Norwegian University of Science and Technology, encourage more intensive contacts and collaboration between them.

The scientific program of the school will consist of 4 mini courses by invited lecturers, short presentations and poster session. Young participants are strongly encouraged to present their research either in 20 minutes talk or by a poster.

This scientific event is finacially supported by NordForsk Research Network. See links below for more detailed information.

Accommodation The school will be held at Steinkjer Kurssenter. It is a nice place in 1.5 hours from the airport by train/bus and 2 hours from Trondheim. All participants from Nordic countries are supported by NordForsk Research Network that will pay the local expenses. We have a few available places for Ph.D. students, postdocs and young researches. Those who wish to participate in the school, please fill out the Application form and sent it by e-mail to the contact persons. There will be a bus from Trondheim (Gløshaugen) on Thursday, September 10 at 8.00 a.m. Then the bus will pick up participants from Bergen at Værnes airport and get all of us to Steinkjer about 10.30 a.m. It is recommended for all participants from Bergen to take the first flight of the day September 10 from Bergen to Trondheim (that arrives to Trondheim before 8.00 a.m.). The bus back from Steinskjer departures at 1.30 p.m. after lunch and arrives to Trondheim around 4.00 p.m. on Sunday, September 13. It recommended for  participants from Bergen to take the last flight of the day September 13 from Trondheim to Bergen.
