Fadnes, Lars Thore are involved in
the project PROMISE run by Center for International Health, University
of Bergen, Norway. PROMISE is a abbreviation for "promoting infant
health and nutrition in Sub- Saharan Africa: Safety and efficacy of
exclusive breastfeeding promoting in the era of HIV."
January and February 2005 we conducted the study " Infant feeding practises among HIV- postive mothers in rural Uganda" in Mbale, eastern Uganda. In this study made 240 structured interviews, 15 inter- relationship interviews, 7 focus group discussions and 8 key informant interviews.
