Getting started with MINITAB

Click on the MINITAB icon and the MINITAB package will open up. Read carefully the introduction to the on-line help.

Then try and read in some data by clicking on the ``Open Worksheet'' option in ``File''. Change ``Filtype'' to *.txt and then click on ``Options'' and remove any * (missing value symbol) in there. Then read in the data from the selected file by clicking ``OK''.

Don't forget to be clicked on the appropriate command or worksheet window before performing any operations.
