For most of his married life, Louis Herrmann lived with his wife at 110 Bennett Avenue, Apartment 3-G, in the Washington Heights neighborhood of northern Manhattan.

Apartment list and buzzers of 110 Bennett Avenue

After he died in 1985, Louis Herrmann's widow moved out of 110 Bennett to be closer to her family in midtown Manhattan. Because the current occupants of apartment 3-G choose not to be identified, the Herrmann name is still visible in the lobby today.
