In my current work I am exploring, if and how, the notoriously difficult parameter natural mortality, impacts stock assessments, reference points, 
and management strategy evaluations. I wish to contribute to how we achieve sustainable fisheries in an Anthropogenic era while also considering society, policy, and economics.
