About me

I am a philosopher of science. Most of my research has to do with theories of explanation and causality, methodological issues related to causality in biomedical and social sciences, and the role of mechanistic evidence in those disciplines.

Currently I work on methods of configurational causal modeling (CCMs) as a postdoc in the project Coincidence analysis, hosted at University of Bergen. My research in the project focuses on developing the methodological protocol of CCM modeling using coincidence analysis (CNA) by, for instance, developing robustness tests and other model selection criteria for CCMs, as well as comparing CNA to causal modeling frameworks outside the CCM family.
