Exploring the code - on a matlab installation:
The matlab scripts are in YLMS.zip and hydro.zip

Unpack each of the directories - hydro/ - and ylms/
anfd direct matlab path to the desired one

In hydro - run script hydro.m (with graphical user inteface)
In ylms - run ylmspics.m ( or one of the many scripts listed below )
Most important other script here is ylmspicbig.m - asks for L,M
Content of ylms:
legendre.m norm_fac.m numleg.m sphylm.m ylm.m run this: ylmpics.m
Try also other (e.g. ylm6sc.m - blue and coherent)
